T’shara was born in Japan on US soil. She has no memory of Japan, but it’s a fun story to share. She has also been to Ireland (because she could) and Chile (for her church). If she could, she would spend the rest of her life traveling the world and studying different languages.
T’shara loves reading and her fondest memories are of her mother reading to her and her brothers or reciting poems while she worked. Now that she’s “grown up,” her favorite use of time is reading while curled up on the couch … especially if it’s raining.
T’shara recently graduated from BYU with a degree in Linguistics, and now works with Project Read as one of our VISTAs.
