Amy Jackson

Amy grew up near the orchards and vineyards of the California Central Valley and came to BYU to study economics. While working as an economics teaching assistant, she discovered how rewarding it is to teach math in small group settings, which is exactly what she gets to do at Project Read! Her earlier work experiences include positions at a large bank, a small start-up business, and a charitable foundation. Amy enjoys gardening, learning about environmental conservation in the West, reading, listening to podcasts or audiobooks while taking long walks, and attending live theater and concerts. She loves to explore California beaches and Utah state parks every summer with her husband and four children.
