Dr. Kari Ellingson moved to Utah for one year in 1987 and, after having met her husband, never left! Originally from Philadelphia, she received her Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Virginia and a Masters and Doctorate in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She retired in 2019 after 30 years at the University of Utah, 20 years as Associate Vice President for Student Development. She now has plenty of time for travel, golf, books, Korean dramas and a new obsession with pickleball. As a child, an adult and a mother, reading has always front and center and Project Read allows her to share this passion with others.
