Nathan was born and raised in Utah, which some might not consider to be very exciting. Nathan, on the other hand, is a very exciting person! After graduating from Orem High School in 2013, he went to Mexico City in order to learn Spanish before embarking on his LDS mission in the great state of Wisconsin. Because of his time in Wisconsin, Nathan has developed a passion for cheese, has grown to loathe wintertime, and has been converted to the Green Bay Packers among other things. Upon his return, Nathan enrolled as a student at Brigham Young University and is currently pursuing a major in public relations and a minor in nonprofit organization management.
On top of being a student and working at Project Read, Nathan is an adventurer. He loves traveling and can’t wait to travel abroad again. Nathan especially thrives when he is in the outdoors mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, camping, and playing a variety of sports (not at the same time). He loves helping others, meeting new people, learning, reading, and being spontaneous. In the rare occasion that he’s not feeling like doing something crazy, Nathan likes to settle down on the couch to watch a good movie. On top of everything, he loves his family very much and is incredibly excited to marry his sweetheart Sheila later this year!
