Lab Instructor

Katherine is originally from Nevada, but she now has been in Utah longer than she was in Nevada.  She is married, with two grown daughters and one son-on-law.  She has a B.A. from BYU-Provo and a M. Ed from the U of U in Literacy and Learning, also holding teaching endorsements in Reading and ESL, among other things.  Having been an educator for 30 years, she has taught high school for 13 years for Granite School District, homeschooled her youngest daughter for 10 years and has been teaching for BYUPathways for the past 10 years while training and mentoring other instructors at BYU-I and Ensign College.  She is also currently a PathwayWorldwide Institute Teacher and Leader.  She teaches the Reading Labs on Tuesdays at the Columbus Center Coop in the mornings and at the Copperview Rec Center in the afternoons.
