2024 marks the 40th year of Project Read, a significant milestone celebrated with a ruby-themed anniversary event on March 25th. The choice of ruby, symbolizing wisdom, passion, and courage, mirrors Project Read's longstanding commitment to literacy and educational empowerment.
Annual Corporate Spelling Bee
Tuesday, September 17, 2024, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, Provo City Library Ballroom
This annual event has been described as the “funnest fundraiser in the valley” as teams purchased Lifelines (“ask the experts”, “use my phone”, “double my points”) to aid their quest for success. Annual Pie Before Dinner Appreciation Event
Wednesday, November 20, 2024, 12 pm – 2 pm, at the Co-Op
Friday, November 22, 2024, 12 pm – 2 pm, in the Utah County Project Read office
All Project Read donors, tutors, volunteers, and community supporters are invited. Enjoy a small token of our huge appreciation for all you do to improve lives through literacy in Utah. Enjoy a piece of delicious pie while giving thanks for this past year, and also looking forward to a new year filled with exciting opportunities to learn, serve, improve and succeed. You are our greatest resource, when it comes to meeting the needs of adult literacy in Utah County, and we can’t wait to spend time with you to thank you for all you do!
